British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) to work with Flourish to develop new approaches to help parents

As a result of BACP members backing a motion from Flourish’s Della Austin, the BACP have agreed to work with Flourish to develop approaches to engage highly-challenged, marginalised parents get the psychological and practical support they need.  Flourish’s Integrated Therapy and Advocacy approach is an example of one such approach.  We look forward to working with the BACP and interested BACP members on this project, an important way of creating more stable and nurturing families for our children and their emotional development.
